John Crane was born in Dallas, Texas, on April 1, 1959. Mr. Crane obtained his preparatory and legal education at Baylor University (B.B.A., 1981; J.D., 1984). Upon admission to the Texas Bar, he served four years as a Texas Assistant Attorney General before entering private practice in 1988. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U. S. District Court, Western District of Texas.
Mr. Crane is member of the Austin Bar Association's Estate Planning & Probate Section (past Treasurer); a member of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate & Trust Section; and President-Elect of the Board of Family Eldercare, Inc. His practice is focused on:
