John Crane was born in Dallas, Texas, on April 1, 1959. Mr. Crane obtained his preparatory and legal education at Baylor University (B.B.A., 1981; J.D., 1984). Upon admission to the Texas Bar, he served four years as a Texas Assistant Attorney General before entering private practice in 1988. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U. S. District Court, Western District of Texas.
Mr. Crane is a Director of the Austin Bar Association's Estate Planning & Probate Section; a member of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate & Trust Section; a Director of the Baylor Alumni Association; and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. His practice is focused on:
