Jerry Zunker was born in Schertz, Texas, on October 8, 1931. Mr. Zunker obtained his B.A., with honors, in 1954 from Southwest Texas State University and his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1959. He is admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and all U. S. District Courts in Texas.
Formerly General Counsel to the State Bar of Texas (1979 to 1985), Mr. Zunker has been a member of several State Bar committees, served as President of the National Organization of Bar Counsel, and authored over 15 articles for publication in the Texas Bar Journal.
Mr. Zunker is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He handles primarily civil litigation matters, with a focus in professional malpractice and representation of professionals before regulatory boards.
